HAPPY NEW YEAR

I am so behind on my blog, forgive me for talking about Christmas and such. This year, because of my stroke, all the chores, duties fell on my hubbies back. And he did them very well!

We did the shopping together, thanks to the wonderful therapist, I no longer need the electric scooter,(carts) supplied by most stores. Thank goodness! I don't like them. I simply walk behind regular carts. I fact, at home I walk without my cane most of the time. I am really working on hand use, however I seldom can read my writing, which at least most could read at one time.

Christmas was wonderful! We had ham, tamales, charro beans, guacomole veggies and dip. Sarah made cookies and fudge, we purchased pecan and apple pie, and ate more than we should have.

Christmas day, per custom, we woke early, had coffee, and opened our gifts. What fun! I believe we were truly blessed by all. We laid around, then super hubby cleaned up the wreckage, and Carol and his family came over for dinner, As usual, Sarah had the chore of making the lunch preps, along with Cipriano who made the beans and the guacomole. Hectic but wonderful. no one took pics of the food.

I am showing just a few of the Christmas pictures here, the rest will be on the next blog. I wanted to show all, but space wise, I know better.
