Grief

This is the blog I wish I didn't have to write.
Our beautiful, much anticipated, Great Granddaughter, did not live to make to our arms. She now rests in the arms of Jesus.
We can not explain or tell about our pain. Our pain was for the rest of the families pain. Jennifer, the mom, knew something was wrong, and the doctors confirmed her worse fears, the baby would be born stillborn. The grief we went through was immense. To watch her and Becky, and Joey go through the rest of the labor was more than we could stand.
A saving grace was that most of the family could be there to say prayers, give hugs and cry with each other.
The babies cord had wrapped around her neck.
She was buried Friday morning, and a memorial service and fellowship was held at Rogers Baptist Church on Saturday. After the fellowship, the close family met at the grave sight.
I must say a public 'thank you' for Scott and White Hospital for their thought fullness. The staff understood the pain and heartbreak, and provided help and assistance that was very appreciated.
Jennifer and Joey with Shelby stayed with Carol and Becky until Sunday then went home to try to pick up the pieces of their life. It will be very hard for a long time, but with family support, and their faith, they will make it.
