Trouble with Trouble

Our dog, named Trouble, is under the weather. Now a few years ago if anyone would have said we would go crazy with a dog, we would have laughed. Trouble is our baby! We call him our boy etc. He is spoiled rotten. And we adore him. He is a fawn and white peke-a- poo.
Last spring he got an infection in his anal glands. Some antibiotic and he was back to normal. This fall he again had the same type of infection but this one was much worse and came on fast. We took him to the vet Monday and they wound up putting him under so they could clean the glands and found a bad abcess. We took him back today for more cleaning of the glands and will take him back either Sunday or Mon. for another check.
They will schedule surgery to remove the glands once the infection is cleared up.
I would do any thing to relieve him of any discomfort.
Getting the money for the surgery will be difficult but we will get it. We can make payments if needed.
This weekend we are going to Ft. Worth to set up at a flea market. It was supposed to be for Christmas, but hey, he is more important than any gift.
Fortunatly we had planned to make gifts for family any way. I know they all understand, and if they don't? Tough. (makes me sound mean but its true)
The cost isn't all that much, just right after a wedding is not good timing.......lol
So if your dog lovers, say a prayer for our bit of "Trouble" because I know the Good Lord sent him to us.
